Intelligent anti-masking system
An outdoor detector is an easy target. During the day when the system is disarmed, intruders may damage the sensors or block their view to gain an advantage in trespassing at night. To prevent the cases of sabotage, we’ve equipped MotionProtect Outdoor with a tamper button and an advanced anti-masking system that can remain active 24/7.
The anti-masking system in MotionProtect Outdoor calibrates automatically by analyzing the surrounding area when mounting the device onto SmartBracket. Then, if an obstacle appears in the field of view of anti-masking sensors or if they are painted, the detector quickly notices sabotage and raises the alarm. Moreover, a sensitive tamper is immediately activated if someone attempts to dismount the detector from SmartBracket.
Two-step algorithm for false alarm prevention
A street is always in action: the wind sways leaves and bushes warmed by the sun, animals and birds move around, various insects land on the body of the detector. This diversity of flora and fauna creates a constant barrage of noise that makes it hard for outdoor motion detectors to spot the real threat, humans. We’ve solved this problem both on software and hardware levels by implementing two PIR sensors and developing a unique two-step algorithm for signal analysis, LISA.
Correlation analysis
Whenever MotionProtect Outdoor detects motion, LISA analyses and compares signal forms from two sensors in real-time. If forms are similar, the alarm is raised.
Spectral analysis
When both sensors detect motion, but the correlational analysis doesn’t identify enough similarities, LISA compares frequency components in the signals of both sensors.

Multilevel anti-sabotage protection
MotionCam Outdoor can not be unnoticeably disabled even if the system is disarmed. The detector is equipped with masking sensors reacting to hindering, covering and painting the lens.
It will take the hub less than a minute1 to detect the loss of communication with the detector and inform a central monitoring station and users about the problem. The fact that MotionCam Outdoor was dismantled will become known instantly.
Motion Cam Outdoor PhOD

The MotionCam PhOD has all the same features as the standard MotionCam but the MotionCam (PhOD) is a wireless motion detector supporting photo verification of alarms, Photo on Demand, and Photo by Scenario features. Intended for indoor installation. It can recognise movement at a distance of up to 12 meters. Ignores pets when installed and set up correctly.
MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller works as part of the Ajax security system, communicating with the hub over two secure radio protocols: the detector uses Jeweller to transmit alarms and events and Wings to transmit photos. The hub communication range is up to 1,700 meters in an open space.

DualCurtain Outdoor controls your property perimeter without creating obstacles for people who are already inside. Two independent optical systems with narrow viewing sectors and flexible settings allow you to accurately adjust 30 meters of the detection zone, excluding possible sources of false alarms. The ELSA (Extended Live Signal Analysis) unique software reacts to intruders, screening out triggers like natural interference and pets.
Engineering accuracy
On the sides of the detector there are two optical systems with narrow viewing sectors, each equipped with two PIR sensors. Thanks to temperature compensation, detection is always accurate. Sensor signals are analyzed by our new ELSA digital algorithm. Only if two sensors of the same optical system simultaneously capture human motion, the detector activates an alarm.

The detection range of the two optical systems is adjusted independently. It allows you to precisely set the perimeter guarded by DualCurtain Outdoor and avoid false alarms caused by a bush swaying in the wind or people passing on a public sidewalk. So that the detector’s field of view is not blocked by a column or downpipe on a facade, the optical systems can be shifted vertically. In the app, you can adjust the sensitivity or deactivate one of the optical systems.

Principle of operation
The device notifies of detector activation with an audible alarm and LED. Sound level and alarm length are set in the mobile application.

The device has IP54 dust and moisture protection. 12 V DC external power supply can be connected, if necessary. The built-in accelerometer will raise the alarm if an attempt is made to remove the siren.
